We are pleased to release our June Status Report on the work completed to date as part of the comprehensive review of the Department of Education.
The review aims to identify strengths, challenges, and opportunities for improvement across Yukon’s education system. This Status Report is the first of three reports that we will be presenting the Minister of Education. An Interim Report is scheduled for September 2026, followed by a Final Report in December 2026.
As you review the report, we encourage you to keep in mind that it focuses on the education system as a whole rather than on the work of any individual, organization, or partner. The findings provide an opportunity to reflect on how we can work together to strengthen educational outcomes and experiences for Yukon learners.
We value the contributions of our education partners and stakeholders and appreciate your continued commitment to supporting learners, families, and educators across the territory. We look forward to continuing our engagement with you as the review progresses.
